1.) 2x + 5= -25 
Subtract 5 from both sides
2x= -30
Divide 2 on both sides so that the only thing remaining on the left side is the variable x.
Final Answer: x= -15

2.) 
-3m-6=48
Add 6 to both sides
-3m= 54
Divide -3 on both sides so that the only thing remaining on the left side is the variable m.
