What promises did Stalin make to the people of the Soviet Union?

stalin’s aim was to create a soviet union that was strong enough to challenge the west. He wanted a country that would be able to help spread communism across the whole of the world and pledged to create a democratic institution of their own choice. He expressed his aims at the Yalta conference in 1945. Hope this helps !!
